Why Diesel Tractor Only?

Several reasons are here to tell that why most of people preffer diesel compact tractor instead of a gasoline garden tractor.

The first good thing which go in favour of diesel engine is it has not such major problem creating parts.There are no spark plugs, rotors, points, or distributor caps like the garden tractor.There is no carburetor either, that will gum up and be hard to start after being stored for a long period of time. These diesel engines can be stored for a long time and still start right up.

Secondly, mostly diesel engines in tractor are having water cooled option which let the engine to run at a more consistent and cooler temperature. It have a graet impact on life of engine too. As we all know the lubricancy of diesel which gasoline is missing this also make the engine run thousands of hours without breaking a sweat – and without having to be rebuilt.

We can’t ignore the most important factor that diesel engines provide. The power and raw torque is something that can’t be matched with it by gasoline tractors.However gasoline tractors may be a little quicker to start with.

The another thing which prove the diesel tractor superior is the available attachments. Most gasoline tractors are equipped with a belly mower and don’t normally have a three point hitch. Tractor expandability and types of implements that you can use is limited with this.

The typical gasoline garden tractor is belt driven, while a belt drive won’t pull as much load as a diesel powered tractor. Moreover many blades and scoop implement will not match with gasoline tractor.The drive train will also limit the type of implement you can use with a garden tractor. That is why in all aspects diesel tractor is a successful one.
