Is your Sports Car in a right Shape?

To keep your sports car in shape is not so difficult and expensive as it is considered. A few things regarding maintenance will avoid the hassle of taking it to a repair shop when the engine suddenly dies or the lights in the control panel light up. 2. Visit an expert mechanic, to get all the parts of engine and ignition system checked. Check the spark plugs as their condition is a very good indicator of how the engine is performing. They should be changed every 100,000 miles but there is no harm in checking them every 30,000 miles just to be sure that everything is alright.

3. When starting the vehicle check the rotor and distributor cap that are made up of plastic which deteriorate over time due to wear and tear. To make sure that these are not causing any problems, they need to be checked at the time of starting the vehicle.

4. The filters need to be checked frequently – about every 3,000 miles, as they are very important part of your vehicle. They act as a deterrent against rust and other harmful objects that may disrupt the performance of your vehicle.

5. One should also observe the mileage of his/her vehicle, that can be checked by calculating the amount of fuel purchased and the miles driven as shown by the odometer before and after fueling. If any change is observed in mileage, without any delay take the car to the repair shop for analysis.

6. There are gauges on the dashboard to tell you how your car is performing. In case if you find one of these sensors suddenly light up, you should stop the vehicle and try to determine the problem. If are not sure, call a mechanic or go there and have the problem fixed.
